Los Arroyos Mexican Restaurant & Take Out is set to open in the Goleta Calle Real Center on Wednesday March 31, 2017. The opening of this location will be their third restaurant in Santa Barbara County. The other two locations are in Downtown Santa Barbara (Figueroa Street) and in Montectio (Coast Village Road). The menu at the Goleta location will feature the same great tasting menu as the downtown location. We at Restaurant Connection will also be delivering from the Goleta location, however delivery from this location will not be available until Monday June 19.  We look forward to serving the Goleta community with the delicious food from Los Arroyos. In the meantime, you can always order from the Downtown or Montecito locations.

Santo Mezcal opens in the Funk Zone in Santa Barbara. This new restaurant is showcasing Mexican cuisine with a contemporary edge. The menu consists of items such as appetizers like Empanadas de Camaron, Queso Fundido, Ahi Tuna Ceviche, and Taquitos Dorados. Salads: Ensalada Mezcal, Ensalada Los Cabos Vegetarian: Quesadillas Flor Calabasa, Huarache de Nopal House Specials: Mole, Enchiladas, Chamorro  Combinations: Crispy Taco, Soft Taco, Chile Relleno, Enchiladas. Earlier this month, March 4th to be exact, our good friends at  Los Arroyos Mexican Restaurant celebrated 18 years in business in Santa Barbara.  Back in 1999, Tony Arroyo opened up shop on Figueroa Street in the same location what is now Norton's Pastrami & Deli  and soon after opened another location in Montecito on Coast Village Rd. Here is a little insight on the restaurant and its history in Santa Barbara: We serve fresh, homemade Mexican food crafted each day from the finest ingredients. Tony’s original recipes offer a variety of dishes from traditional fare such as Sopes, Tamales, and Pozole to modern cuisine including the Mama’s Salad with grilled vegetables, Ceviche with fresh fish, and the Garden Burrito. The Montecito menu differs in some ways from the Downtown location. For example, the specials in Montecito consist of these delicious items: Langostino Quesadilla :  Two large flour totillas filled with Langostino lobster, three types of cheese, caramelized onions, avocado, chipotle sour cream and guacamole.  (pictured below) Juanitos's High Protein Extra Lean Burrito :   Filet mignon, whole brown beans, cheese, salsa fresca and avocado wrapped in a flour tortilla and toasted on the grill.
